Trauma Release Sessions are beneficial for those seeking treatment for acute trauma, birth trauma, PTSD/C-PTSD, and/or addiction issues that are looking for additional support and relief.  No experience in tapping into your body is necessary.  These sessions are appropriate for all bodies – they can be done seated, on the floor or laying down.  No special props or wardrobe is necessary.  We recommend comfortable clothes.

These sessions include body awareness to identify tension or tightness, grounding techniques to work in the present moment, somatic exercises and release work to release points of pressure, and tools to neutralize and replenish.  These sessions help restore bodily choice by using trauma-informed language.

Jen came to trauma work as a way to support a friend whose traumatic experiences were, she thought, far “worse” than anything she had endured. Instead, what she learned was that we all face trauma—whether acute or sustained—at some point in our lives, + that we are not alone, not unworthy of healing, not meant to be cast aside. She now works from a place of understanding that while survivors often feel isolated or like they don’t belong, our deeper healing happens when we tell our truth so that others might also share theirs. This often involves excavating the truth contained deep in our bodies. We all belong; we are all worthy of healing; we all help each other heal.

For sessions, both in-person and virtual, a 24-hour cancellation policy is in effect.  If you miss your appointment, are late more than 15 minutes, cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full price of the visit.  If you cancel or need to reschedule up until the 24 hour mark, the paid session fee will remain on your account as a credit.  Account credits can be used for any classes, workshops, services or trainings but are not available for use in our gift shop.
